Course entry requirements

Entry requirements are set by individual universities and courses. PKUC provides personalised guidance to help you understand these requirements and identify pathways to take the next steps into higher education.

University preparation courses

We also support university preparation courses that provide a pathway for people who are considering university study but may not have studied for some time or did not achieve the ATAR they were seeking.

Pathways to Uni

University entry is now more flexible than ever. Students can choose from multiple pathways based on their education, background, or life experience. Options include ATAR entry, using VET qualifications such as a Certificate IV, completing university preparation programs for those who don’t meet standard entry requirements, or applying through portfolio or experience‑based pathways that demonstrate skills and suitability for study.
