Student Accommodation South Hedland
Mirnutharntu Maya offers serviced accommodation in South Hedland, conveniently located close to Nursing residential schools. The facility provides a range of accommodation options to suit different needs and all meals are included. PKUC students benefit from a special capped rate for a weekly stay. Additionally, airport pickups can be arranged upon request.
Accommodation in the region is limited, and Mirnutharntu Maya is often fully booked. To ensure availability for our nursing students, PKUC secures a group booking, reserving spots specifically for residential school students.
When booking with Mirnutharntu Maya, please inform them that you are a CQU Nursing student attending a PKUC residential school. This will ensure you are allocated accommodation from the reserved group booking for your cohort.

Student Accommodation – Pilbara Placements
WA Centre for Rural Health – Student Accommodation
To assist students in accessing rural placements, the WA Centre for Rural Health (WACRH) owns several fully furnished shared accommodation options for students participating in placement programs in the Midwest, Gascoyne and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.
The Pilbara accommodation is located in Karratha, Port Hedland, Roeburne and Newman and is close to placement sites. If you would like to access this accommodation please reach out to admin-wacrh@uwa.edu.au once you know your placement dates to secure your spot.
This accommodation is provided free of charge if you meet the eligibility requirement.
