PKUC Scholarships
Scholarships are an important part of the Pilbara Kimberley University Centres (PKUC) commitment to rewarding academic excellence, supporting research, and enabling students from all backgrounds to realise their potential.
Please ensure you read our PKUC Scholarship Terms and Conditions for more information prior to submitting your application.
You must be residing in the Pilbara or Kimberley and be registered with the PKUC to be eligible to apply. If you are not registered with us, please complete the online enrollment form PKUC Student Registration Form to be eligible. Students can apply for multiple scholarships using a single application form by selecting the scholarships relevant to them
Our Scholarships
BCI Minerals scholarships valued at $1,000 to support students registered with PKUC residing in the City of Karratha or the town of Onslow who are undertaking studies in the field of Allied Health or Nursing.

Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry supplies $4,000 to support a female student registered with PKUC, residing in the Shire of Broome and currently enrolled in the field of leadership and or business.

CQU offers ten scholarships valued at $1000 each to support students residing within the Pilbara or Kimberley who are registered with the Pilbara Kimberley Universities Centre (PKUC).undertaking a course with CQU.
Scholarship funds may be used to assist with course fees, learning resources (including technology), and travel and accommodation expenses associated with their studies.

Curtin University offers ten scholarships valued at $1000 each to support students residing within the Pilbara or Kimberley who are registered with the Pilbara Kimberley Universities Centre (PKUC) undertaking a course with Curtin University.
Scholarship funds may be used to assist with course fees, learning resources (including technology), and travel and accommodation expenses associated with their studies.

Embrace Healthcare Solutions will provide two $1,000 scholarships to PKUC students residing in the Pilbara who are enrolled in a university enabling or bridging course, or a Certificate IV pathway leading to tertiary study in Nursing, Disability Support, Aged Care, Youth Care, Community Care, Community Services, Mental Health, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.
Scholarship funds are intended to assist recipients with course-related costs, including tuition fees, study resources, and other approved educational expenses.

Embrace Healthcare Solutions provides $4,000 in scholarship funding to support two students registered with the Pilbara Kimberley Universities Centre (PKUC). Applicants must reside in the Pilbara and be currently enrolled in a university course within one of the following fields: Nursing, Disability Support, Aged Care, Youth Care, Community Care, Community Services, Mental Health, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.

Job Pathways Scholarship provides two (2) scholarships valued at $10,000* for students residing in the Shire of Wyndam – East Kimberley or the Shire of Halls Creek and enrolled in, or intending to enroll in, a recognised higher education course, as approved by PKUC. Preference may be given to First Nations students and students from remote or very remote communities.
Scholarship funds can be directed towards course fees and/or resources** associated with tertiary study in a Certificate IV or higher with one of PKUC University Partners.
*10,000 is based on full-time or part-time enrolment in higher education courses.
**Resources include: stationery, text/e-books, IT costs, uniforms and associated costs for childcare and travel and accommodation when completing placement.

Shire of Ashburton provides two scholarships valued at $500 to support students registered with PKUC residing in the towns of Tom Price or Paraburdoo undertaking tertiary studies in any field.

The Town of Port Hedland offers four (4) scholarships valued at $5,000 each to support students residing within the Town of Port Hedland who are registered with the Pilbara Kimberley Universities Centre (PKUC).
Applicants must be currently enrolled in, or have received an offer to undertake, a university course and demonstrate financial need or face financial barriers that may impact their ability to commence or continue their studies.
Scholarship funds may be used to assist with course fees, learning resources (including technology), and travel and accommodation expenses associated with their studies.

Yaandina Community Services provides one scholarships valued at $1,000 to support students registered with PKUC residing in the Pilbara who are undertaking studies in the field of Allied Health or Nursing.

Wunan provides a scholarship valued at $5,000 to support a Wunan KEEP Program previous student (you have finished high school and are looking to complete further higher education study), residing in the East Kimberley and enrolled in, or intending to enrol in, a recognised higher education course in a Certificate IV or higher, as approved by PKUC.
