PKUC Scholarships: Opportunities for Pilbara and Kimberley Students

The Pilbara Kimberley University Centres (PKUC) is excited to announce its largest scholarship offering to date, providing a range of financial assistance to students from the Pilbara and Kimberley regions. These scholarships, closing on May 5th, support students pursuing various fields of study. We are incredibly appreciative of our generous sponsors for making this possible. Here’s a summary of the available scholarships and their sponsors:

Broome International Airport Scholarship for Science and Technology

  • Amount: 2 x $1,000
  • Eligibility: Students registered with PKUC and residing in the Kimberley, studying Science or Technology.

Hon. Melissa Price, Member for Durack Pilbara & Kimberley Equity Scholarships

  • Amount: 3 x $500
  • Eligibility: Pilbara or Kimberley resident students studying at university.

Woodside Energy and Joint Venture Partner Engineering Scholarship

  • Amount: 1 x $5,000
  • Eligibility: Pilbara resident students studying Engineering at CQUniversity, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Charles Darwin University, or the University of Tasmania.

Nickol Bay Fertiliser Co Pty Ltd Equity Scholarships

  • Amount: 2 x $500
  • Eligibility: Pilbara resident students studying at one of PKUC’s 2024 partner universities.

Yaandina Community Services Allied Health / Nursing Pilbara Scholarship

  • Amount: 4 x $1,000
  • Eligibility: Students registered with PKUC residing in the Pilbara, studying Allied Health or Nursing.

BCI Minerals School Leavers Scholarship

  • Amount: 2 x $1,000
  • Eligibility: Students registered with PKUC, residing in the City of Karratha or Onslow, who have completed secondary school in the last 24 months.

Pilbara Kimberley University Centres Scholarships

  • Amount: 10 x  $1,000
  • Eligibility: Pilbara or Kimberley students studying at university.

BCI Minerals Allied Health / Nursing Scholarship

  • Amount: 3 x $1,000
  • Eligibility: Students registered with PKUC residing in the City of Karratha or Onslow, studying Allied Health or Nursing.

City of Karratha Academic Excellence Scholarship

  • Amount: 1 x $2,500
  • Eligibility: Students registered with PKUC residing in the City of Karratha, demonstrating academic excellence.

Onslow Salt Scholarship

  • Amount: 1 x $2,500
  • Eligibility: Students registered with PKUC residing in Onslow, undertaking tertiary studies in any field.

Shire of Ashburton Scholarships

  • Amount: 40 x $500 
  • Eligibility: Students registered with PKUC residing in Onslow, Pannawonica, Tom Price, or Paraburdoo, undertaking tertiary studies in any field.
