Wunan provides two different Scholarship opportunities for East Kimberley Aboriginal Students as listed below:

Wunan KEEP Program East Kimberley Aboriginal Scholarship

Wunan provides a scholarship valued at $5,000 to support a Wunan KEEP Program previous student (you have finished high school and are looking to complete further higher education study), residing in the East Kimberley and enrolled in, or intending to enrol in, a recognised higher education course in a Certificate IV or higher, as approved by PKUC.

  • Two (2) payments of $2,500 following census date each study period and upon confirmation of good academic standing, or as approved by PKUC

Eligibility Criteria

Essential

  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student
  • Reside within the East Kimberley
  • Must be a KEEP Program Previous Student
  • Registered student with PKUC
  • Enrolled, or intending to enrol, in full-time or part-time study of a recognised higher education course, as approved by PKUC

Wunan East Kimberley Aboriginal Scholarship

Wunan provides a scholarship valued at $10,000 to support an Aboriginal student, residing in the East Kimberley and enrolled in, or intending to enrol in a Certificate IV or higher course (as approved by PKUC), in the following fields:

  • early childhood education and development 
  • teaching
  • youth work 
  • provision of intensive family support (Community Services, Social Work)
